Membership Pro profile, correct? I checked and it worked well. Maybe it causes by the custom PHP script which you are using?

Thanks Tuan
I cant see it being my php as I do nothing with email addresses.
I will check but I prefer the robustness of changing email via the Joomla user that you have now enabled. It is ensuring sync between Joomla/MP/AcyMailing email addresses.
I have now allowed users access to the standard Joomla Profile and used the read only feature to stop them changing email address via MP.

Hi Alan
As I said, I tested it and it worked OK (both via Membership Pro user profile and via Joomla user profile editing page), so I am unsure why it doesn't work for you
Hope there will be someone tries to us this feature and report us with the result back. I will test it one more time during this weekend, too
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
I have tested and can confirm the same issue as reported by Alan.
On testing, when changing a user's email address in the backend it works as expected, ie Membership Pro email address is updated/synchronized with the new Joomla user email address - FANTASTIC!
HOWEVER... on the front end, when a user logs in and goes to the Membership Pro User Profile page and updates their profile with a new email address, upon saving the message states the profile has been updated BUT the change does not take effect. The old address remains on the User Profile page on the front end, and there is no change to the Joomla User Profile OR the Membership Pro profile address in the backend.
If you cannot replicate this, let me know if you would like to view my situation, I will log a job.
Hope this helps.

Honestly, I haven't figured out the exactly reason of the error, but I made some changes to the code and it works OK now
Maybe Alan can re-download the package, then try again and update us with the result?

Just tested and I am still having issues.
I downloaded the latest code and installed it.
Re-enabled the ability for a member to edit their email address and then tried changing my address.
As before it stated it had been updated but then refreshed the field with the previous email address.
Sorry to bring bad news.
I have the synchronize emails set to yes.
The system had sent out an update profile email with the new email address erroneously as it wasn't set in the database.
