Integration with Joomla User Manager

I think I had the same issue with Admin Tools when I first set up MP. I can't remember how long it took me to work it out, though! Glad you got it fixed.

Disappointed to see this feature request did not make it to ver 2.10.0 as it is no doubt causing confusion to MP users.
Any chance of including it in a future version, it seems such a core feature that is currently lacking.?

To summarise in a sentence:
Changes in the email address in the Joomla user profile section in the backend should synchronize with the email address in Membership Pro for the same user.

Any other customers need this option? If Yes, I can add it to next release 2.10.1

I am seeing the same issue re the non-sync of emails recently.
It used to work fine but no longer.

I have written a report to highlight difference when they occur and a SQL script to fix them.

This is not caused by the Admin tools issue.

Just updated the download package on server with this option (without releasing new version). You can access to My Downloads menu item, download this latest version and update

Then go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Synchronize email config option to Yes and it should work as expected

I have implemented this update and note the following.
If I turn the option on then I can no longer edit an email address through my user profile.

Is this as intended?

With it turned off I can edit my email address through User Profile but that isnt syncing to the Joomla User - it used to until fairly recently.
