Events Booking version 3.14.0 released

Learning a new programming language to be able to develop mobile APP will take much time. So I don't have plan for that in near future, I still have many things I want to work on to improve Membership Pro and Events Booking and it will take high priority from me

Mobile app development, will be something in the future, but I guess it is not something I will spend time this year

Came across this app.
It has the ability to do a post or a get. I wonder if this will work ?

It might work. But one of the review said that it does not support https (which is required for most sites these days) ?

Looking at further comments, it looks like no development has been done for a few years, So I don't think we want trust an app like this.

Tried it.
There is no option to change the hardcoded http to https

If there is sufficient interest I can try and get it developed. We might have an initial cost.

Maybe we can try to search for a free app like QRCODE plus first if it is possible. I don't have experience with mobile app development, but I don't think it should cost much money for a simple app like that

I am happy to research Google Play Store for apps.
@tunan Can I just clarify exactly what QR Plus does?
I read this on the Apple Store site about QR PLus
"This app can scan your passbook proof and submit the code to the designated URL with the designated method and key name, then it will react according to the JSON data responded from the server(accept or not) to tell you whether the ticket you scanned is valid or not."
Then looking at your documentation is talks about '

URL: Enter domain.com/index.php?option=com_eventboo...qrcode_plus&api_key= [API_KEY] . Of course you needs t replace domain.com with URL of your site. [API_KEY] needs to be replaced with the string you entered in Checkin API Key config option.

So am I correct in saying that all the app as to do is allow you to enter a URL and your API Key. The app then scans the QR code which I assume has all the event booking information and then posts that back to Events Booking registration?
Is it as simple as that or is there more??

That's correct except that the APP does not hae to allow us to enter an API Key. If just need to be able to:

- SCAN a QRCODE
- Make a request back to the configure URL
- Parse the result returned by us and display the result in the mobile app

Timezone management should not be difficult to implement. However, it will require many changes to the layout, so it is backward incompatible change and we can only do it on next major release of Events Booking (version 4). For that, you would have to wait for few more months, I'm afraid of
