Hello Chris

- If you look at a subscription record, there will be two field From Date and To Date controls the duration of the subscription record. The Subscription Start Date Option is used to control how From Date of the subscription is calculated and base on your description, it won't work for this case
- I do not know why you need to setup two plans in this case. Just setup one plan and then change the joining fee at 1st July manually every year
- If you do not want to change that manually every year, code customization will be needed. But it will cost you small fee 20$ for the customization

Tuan

Hi Tuan

If we use the one subscription plan,  you could customize for the fee to be changed to £10 on the 1st July.  then changed back to £20 on the 1st October.

As an incentive for members to join after the 1st October,  their membership

is good to the end of the following year, giving them up to 15 months of membership for the cost of 12 months.

If we change the price of the membership,  how will that be catered for?

When Membership Pro is upgraded,  how will it effect the customization?  will our version of Membership pro be different to other peoples version

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris

We will implement the change using override so that when you update Membership Pro to newer version in the future, it will still work well, don't worry

Tuan

Hi Tuan

My  other question,  how will it cater for changes to the cost of the fee,  which might happen in the future

Just to confirm, the cost of the work to be done is $20

I guess I will add a config option for that fee amount so that if they want to change the fee, they can change from administrator area of the site

Yes, I can confirm
