Net vs Gross was created by Paul Smith
I am confused over the use of Net Amount and Gross Amount in the package. Usually a Net Amount would be the amount paid by an end user for a service after adjusting a list price for taxes, fees and discounts, i.e. Net Amount = Gross Amount + Taxes + Fees - Discounts
What I am seeing from the membership screens for a subscription is Gross Amount = Net Amount - Discount, where Net Amount is the Plan Price

Hi Paul
Honestly, I don't have much experience with these terms and have to check it again. Could you please make a screenshot showing the change you want?
I guess you will just need to go to Membership Pro -> Translation, find and change the language items to meet your need?

I've attached a doc with some screenshots and explanation.
Summarizing here, changing translations may be a good solution for display provided the underlying math is correct.
I believe
“Net Amount” – could be translated to “Price” (same as in Plan Detail)
And “Gross Amount” – could be translated to “Payment” (using terms from the Payment Plugins)
This might become confusing in the database subscribers table since you use the names “Amount” and “Gross Amount” there..
In these columns, “Amount” would best be “Price” ; and “Gross Amount” would be “Payment”

So I did change the translations for OSM_GROSS_AMOUNT and OSM_NET_AMOUNT which does indeed change the translations on the front end and parts of the back end, but not column heads . See attached doc

Hello Paul
For backend, you need to change translation for backend language file. Did you make that change yet?

Did not realize there was one .. until I just looked for it and changed them. Now the column headings are changed as well.
