A user can update his/her profile and this includes his/her email address. However, updating the email address doesn't change the login name - it remains at the original one (ie the username for the joomla account).
This is going to be very confusing for users: if they change their email address, they still have to remember their old email address to log in.
Is there any way of updating their login email address?
