I upgraded recently to 1.3.2. The Category list is showing empty. Also, for a new event I am having trouble getting custom field to show at all. There are 2 categories that I can select for any event, but they don't appear to be sticking in the DB when I save the event. The custom fields are showing blank if I filter the list with the Show Core Fields set to the event. It's as if the custom fields aren't getting saved for the event. The custom fields only show in the custom field list if I select All Events.

It appears as if there are DB issues after upgrading. The new event is working fine despite the category issue, except that I can't get custom fields to show. I have the Multiple Booking set to No. Event Custom Field is set to Yes in the global config, but that only seem to add a tab called Extra Information in the event details.

Please advise. The event is at www.defrankcenter.org/index.php?option=c...iew=event&Itemid=135

I can't give out the site password as there in confidential info stored on the site.

Thanks,

Greg

Hi

The simplest way to upgrade is that you uninstall the old version and install new version. Please rememember to backup your language file(language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini) and the css file (components/com_eventbooking/assets/css/style.css) first before making the upgrade .

Please let me know if you need more help !

Thanks,

Tuan

Tuan,

I my case, we initially did uninstall the previous version before installing v1.3.2. However, the issue of the custom fields not being displayed on the front-end is still present.

I didn't even get a reply when I raised the issue.

I am guessing there is a coding bug.

Disappointed
