Hi Tuan,

I have a couple bugs after updating that no one has mentioned...

SOLVED (css was set at 640.. needs 644)[strike]1. no css is now loading for the component.. the only styles that are being picked up are from the template and there are some images missing in the events now[/strike]

2. when i click the "registration confirmation" button after filling a registration form... it doesn't do anything.. no redirect.. no pageloading

Thanks!

best,
John

Hi John

It seems the javascript file if the extension was not loaded because of permission issue(like the css file) . The javascript file is located at components/com_eventbooking/assts/js/paymentmethod.js .

Please go there to check that . Maybe you need to change the permssion like how you did for the css file.

Thanks,

Tuan

Tuan:

Thanks for your attention in my support ticket and resolving my error. I was certain I had done the final step, but who knows. Great component. I will be certain to post a nice review on Joomla.org. Can't wait to assign custom fields to just some forms, not all forms.

In the next release, I will keep the list of modified file and release it as a update package from version x to version y (like how Joomla upgrade works) .

For now, If you have modified language file, or the css file, you need to back up these files first before the upgrade. After upgrading, you can upload the these modified files again to server .

Hi Tuan,

Is this the case now for version 1.2.1? Please let us know.

Many thanks

Can we PLEASE have instructions on how to upgrade the component? Do we still need to uninstal first? Is there a chance to get some of our customization deleted with the upgrade? Oh, why can't we have a normal install over the previous version upgrade like EVERY other extension that I have ever bought/used?

Is it possible to have the upgrade procedure in the documentation area? It doesn't make sense that I need to search all the forum posts to find out what has changed on the extension or how to upgrade.
