I will have to check it. However, I think if you do not Enable Cancel Registration for the event, then the date should not be set. Maybe it happens because you enable cancel registration for the event?

Anyway, I think you can still change Cancel Before Date of the new event before/after creating new event using Save As Copy, so maybe it is not really an issue

I was confused which configuration option suppressed the unwanted behaviour. I found the option in Backend Submit Event Form and set it to NO. This has resolved our issue. Thanks for your help.

I just noticed that when people register for my events, they get an error saying "there has been an error. Please go back and try again, you may need to login first in order to access" But the registration comes into the backend. Also the Invoice is not being generated and no emails are being sent to the attendee.

Must causes by something else on your site. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site, link to the page which we can see the error

We are going to check to see why the error happens and get it sorted
