Thank you for interesting in our EShop Shopping Cart extension. The things that you want are not supported by EShop. However, it can be implemented by overriding the layout of products list or product details page. If you purchase EShop and use it, I will consider to do that for you as a custom work.
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to let me know.
Sincerely, Giang

Thanks for the quick response!
What would the price be? I will need to give it to the client to decide.
Also, will it be "responsive" - or can the info appear below each other in the popup - or maybe just the info & a ADD TO CART button without the image.
Basically the client wants everything to be mobile-friendly

Thanks again!

Another (maybe easier) option - maybe keep the product image and buttons as it originally appears ( joomdonation.com/forum/questions/53686-p...nfo-popup/84732.html ), and then if someone clicks on the picture of a product, it will only show the details of the product, so no buttons or pictures in the popup?
Will this be better (also more responsive)?
Thanks
Jacs

1) Does your extension include the "shopping cart" module at the top right side of the corner on your demo?
2) They only want to accept EFT as payments, so can one "skip" the payment option?
Thanks!

Hello Jacs,
Actually, I need you to give me more details about the layout that you want to have. It's great and easier for me if you can show me an example site or some screenshot to show me how you want exactly. You should also submit a new ticket to EShop category to send me that. Once everything is clear, I will give you the exact quote there.
Sincerely, Giang

Hi again Jacs,
1. Of course yes. The shopping cart module is the default module in the EShop package. You will have it once you purchase EShop.
2. What's EFT payment? EShop supports multiple payment plugins, you can use any one of them.

Basically they want their products to appear in 3 columns, with the name & a picture (as with your example: joomdonationdemo.com/eshop/cameras/digital-cameras.html ), but when you click on the picture/name of the product, instead of opening a new page, they only want a popup with a short description of the product.
Will send an idea they have of the popup...

1. Register/Login
2. They add products to their cart
3. Checkout (without Payment gateway)
4. Email is send to the owner of the site that someone bought products & a confirmation email to the buyer.
5. The client can then make a payment on their own and once the owner sees the money in their account, they will ship the product.
Note: they have limited funds, so I think to keep it simple, let's keep the buttons (add to cart etc) in the product listing (as per your demo) and just have the text in the popup?
Last question: If we buy the product, they can still upgrade Joomla as new versions come available? We bought another product last year for virtuemart and the client now cannot upgrade Joomla (e.g. 3.4 to 3.6) as the extension does not allow upgrades. they must now buy the extension everytime Joomla brings out a new version, which is a costly situation in the end.
thanks for you help!

Thank you for explain about the customer requirements.
1. The feature when click on the product to show short description in the popout: My quote to do it is $30. If you agree, please submit a new ticket to EShop category to send me the super admin account to your site so I can help you to implement that.
2. Regarding the payment, I think you can use the default Offline Payment plugin in EShop. Please read more about it in the documentation here: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/plugins-and-t...ment-plugins/offline
3. EShop is compatible with all Joomla 3.x version and of course, it is compatible with latest Joomla version.
Hope to hear back from you soon.
Sincerely, Giang
