First of all, version 1.6 won't not be compatible with Joomla 2.5 . Also, the "size attribute" which make each radio button on it's own line as you mentioned is not available in 1.6 version (I don't remember what version I added this feature to but it seems I added it from version 2.0 or 2.1) .
