Automatic Pause before the booked timeslot was created by P. Swemmelaar
Hi Guys,
It is highly preferrable to also have the possibility to have an automatic pause before a booked timeslot.
USECASE:
My customer is a masseuse and she works alone. Between 2 massages she needs to change the massagebed, towels etc.
When someone book a massage automatically a pause is booked after that timeslot. (In her case 15 minutes).
But when for example a customer has booked a massage from 16:00 - 17:00 and after that another customer books a massage (timeslot) from 15:00 - 16:00, this is possible in the current version of OS Service Booking. But in this case the masseuse has not time to change the bed etc.
So it is highly wanted to make it possible to also automatically put a pause before a booked timeslot. You can make this optional, like the current functionality so people can choose if they want this or not.
With kind regards,
Peter

Hi,
When you edit service, you can see field: "Rest time period after one booking", you can add value for this field. Thus, employee will have rest time after timeslot (of service) is booked.
Thanks
Dam

Hi Dam,
Please read the usecase carefully. The rest time after timeslot works well. However if later another customer books a timeslot before this one it is possible that there is no rest time. With other words, a customer can book a timeslot before the already booked timeslot without automatic rest time.
Kind regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,
How do you think about setting up the value of "Step in minutes" is Service time-length + resttime. So between every timeslots of service, we will have "pause time"
Thanks

Hi Dam,
That would be a workaround. But then the customers see on their booking confirmation email a timeslot that is 15 minutes more. And maybe the customers will demand that the masseuse will do the extra 15 minutes. It will be confusing for the customers. It is a workaround, but it is not how it should work in my opinion.
Kind regards,
Peter

Hi Dam,
Is it possible to have this option in a next version of OS Service Booking? Thanks.
