Creating a new User type was created by Helen
Hi Dam
I followed this forum post
joomdonation.com/forum/search.html?query...ldforums=1&catids=84
to create a new user type. I changed all references to REALTOR to BUYER (there were 3 instances in the helper.php file) however, when I go into Configuration - Select User Type, the drop down list still shows REALTOR. Is there any other place that I should change it?
I might be missing something, but, it does not make sense to me that a interested property buyer cannot register and is not listed as a User Type. Most of the people that are going to be viewing the properties listed on our site will be buyers. The intention would be that they can do comparisons, save search results, do ratings etc.
Thanks

I have just checked what happened on the front end if REALTOR is selected as a Type in configuration and it now shows it like this in the Dropdown list:
Agent
OS-BUYER
Seller
So there is a change on the frontend but I would prefer it to be "Buyer" and look the same as the others.

I have just found this post
joomdonation.com/forum/questions/53643-h...he-answer.html#84656
In which you explain why you do not have an Agent Type called a Buyer. I therefore assume that a prospective Buyer would need to register as a normal registered Joomla user to be able to do comparisons, save search results, do ratings etc. Is this correct?
