One agent

I need only one agent to manage properties from the front end. I have a registered user for this. He is a agent. When I deselect "Allow Agent/Owner registered:" on the back end, I cant log in any more. How can I do that?

We are sure that isn't any relation between configure option "Allow Agent/Owner registered" and User login problem. You can try to change the pasword of Joomla user (of default agent) and try to login again

Thank you for your reply. As soon as I turn off the agent registration, I can't log in anymore as a user.

Also when I hover over an image of a property it shows the image path as: www.sitename/index.php/components/ospropert/agentname
Can I shorten the path so that it don't show the component and the osproperty?

1. Please submit ticket and send your site information with super admin account. I will check to see why the use can't login after turning off Agent registration
2. If you want to shorten the link to agent details, you must setup the link to layout: Agent listing first. From that layout, if user click on Agent details, the link will be: agent_listing/agentname

I did not say anything about shortening the link to agent details. I said when I hover over a property image. I need that to be changed not to say "component/osproperty" in it.

Joomla always add "component/component_name" into the sef link when it can't find the Itemid. That's the reason i advise you to add new Joomla menu to layout: Agent listing. And the link to agent details won't have "component/osproperty" in it
