MP Paypal Standard Checkout plugin: Recurring supported? was created by hide10
Hello,
We are using the standard PayPal payment plugin which is included in the Membership Pro.
Recently, however, PayPal team contacted us to inform the possible discontinuation of the PayPal product which we are currently using with Membership Pro.
We don’t know details yet.
But I found the related discussion in this forum:
joomdonation.com/forum/membership-pro/74...pal-integration.html
By reading those discussion, I understand that
Since the discussion is more than 7 months ago, I’d like to check the latest status.
Do you have any plan to support recurring subscription for the PayPal Standard Checkout plugin?
Or is it impossible due to the PayPal’s specification?
Thank you for your help,
rikao

- PayPal is encouraging us to use their latest PayPal Checkout, instead of the legacy Website Payments Standard.
- It’s necessary to use MP PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin, in that case.
- But currently the MP PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin does not support recurring subscription.

Hi rikao
The payment plugin does not support recurring payment yet. I will have to read documentation again to see if it could be supported but it won't be very soon.
You can keep using PayPal payment standard for now. I believe it will continue working well for years ahead
Regards,
Tuan
