Improved user profile integration

User friendliness first. Our members should be able to make all relevant settings in their Membership Pro profile. Of course, this also includes the username, as this is supported by many 3rd party extensions. Our members should not have to make any changes to their Joomla profile. Everything must be possible centrally in the paid Membership Pro profile.

Yes. And unless there is something special on your site, users should be able to change username from Membership Pro profile page

Could you please go to Users component, press Options button in the toolbar and make sure Change Username parameter is set to Yes

Then try again. You should be able to change username from profile page as expected

Hi Tuan, thanks for the info. I think I have found the error. It has to do with the Use Email As Username setting. If this is activated, there is no possibility to edit the username. This behavior is also shown on one of your screenshots. It would be great if both email and username were editable.

If you have Use Email As Username config option set to Yes, Email will become username of the subscriber. So editing email is enough. There is no reason both need to be editable (because the two keep the same information)
