Creating the extra fields you want in #__osmembership_plans table will have data for these fields stored automatically on save. And No, these added fields won't be lost when you update to future releases of the extension, don't worry

Like I said in my last comment, I have already figured it out and gotten my extra fields working good.

Also, good to know that the extra fields won't be overwritten on update.
