Canceled recurring cannot sign up again

I am still posting updates here even though no one's helping me...
It seems that when one renews 1 day early, and then you have the real renewal occur the next day, that gives you the double payment/Active membership on the Membership Pro side. On the Stripe side, it is indeed charging just every 2 days but on the Website side, it is goofing up the active periods.
Could this be that the memberships are too short and they are stumbling over each other? Perhaps a short membership would be better handled by hours instead of days?
Anyway, I cannot release this project the way it is and I really don't want to start over again with a different extension. Tuan, can you help me, please??

Hello Helen
Better please submit a support ticket sending me:
1. Super admin account of the site
2. Send me an account which is having this issue and tell me what I need to do to see the error like you said (step by step, please)
I will then check to see what's wrong (I believe it is just something wrong with the setting) and get it sorted on tomorrow

Hi Helen,
Did you ever establish why cancelled subscribers couldn't return and renew an expired membership at a later date?
We're observing exactly the same behaviour on our site and have tried everything without any luck.
Any advice as to how you managed to resolve this would be appreciated.

Hi
Please edit the subscription plan, set Enable Renewal to Yes
Then try again. If expired users still could not renew their subscription, there must be something wrong with the settings some how. In that case, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account and a subscriber account so that we can check it
