Advice When Members update their Information was created by Graeme Simpson
We have a situation when members update their information in Membership Pro, such as email address or physical address etc., they expect us to know and make the same change to our other external records. Of course we don't know they have updated anything. I have looked to see if there was an option to have an email sent to admin whenever a subscriber changes information, but I could not see one.
So is it possible to get an email sent to our admin address whenever a member changes any of their information?

Actually, when users update profile data, the system does send email to admin to inform them about it.
Go to Membership Pro -> Emails & Messages, make sure you enter data for "Profile Update Email Subject" and "Profile Update Email Body" setting and it should work well

Thanks Tuan, but I don't have "Profile Update" messages listed when I go to Emails & Messages. We had a consultant set up the web site for us so maybe he removed them? Or is there something else I am not understanding.

Hi Graeme
What version of the extension you are using? Maybe you are using quite old version of the extension? If so, you will need to update to latest version 2.5.0 of the extension to use this feature

Hi Tuan,
OK, that will be it, thanks.
We updated to 2.1.0 earlier this year and that is what we are currently running. It is now offering 2.3.0 as an upgrade, although that does not appear to be available to us. We probably have to go through our consultant as it was probably purchased by him for our web site and we will arrange for 2.5.0 to be purchased.
Thanks again
Graeme

Hi Graeme
If you are using Joomla 2.5, then 2.3.0 is latest version. If you use Joomla 3.x, then the latest version is 2.5.0 (and I am working on 2.6.0 at the moment)

Hi Tuan,
We are using Joomla 3.4.6, so we should be able to use 2.5.0.
Our consultant would have bought 2.1.0 in Jan this year or maybe even late Dec 2015. Do you know if we are eligible for any upgrade and which one, or do we need to purchase 2.5.0, or even wait for 2.6.0?
Thanks Graeme

Hi Graeme
We provide free upgrade for one year, so in this case, you don't have to purchase it again. Please submit a support ticket letting us know PayPal Transaction ID of the purchase (or the email he used to purchase the product)
I will find order, assign it to your account so that you can login to download it to update to the site
