Membership Pro Integration with Registered User was created by Clifton Duhon
Hello. I have membership pro installed on my site. My goal is to have people sign up for a membership which will provide them with unique access to the site. I want to make sure that the membership pro signup integrates with the core login. I have UN/PW as a required field on the membership signup which I want to transfer over to the core login.
I have run a few tests, but cannot sign up for a membership and then use the UN/PW I created to sign into the website.
Please help!

Hi Clifton
Your explanation of the issue is not very clear to me. Could you please:
1. Send me the link to sign up page
2. Let me know what error you are having when you try to sign up
I will then check to see why it happens and guide you to fix/change it

Hi Tuan!
Here is the link to the sign-up page:

I included an attachment to try and explain myself better.
Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Clifton
I can see that you created additional custom fields to allow users to enter username and password for the registration and that's not the correct way. Please remove the two custom fields you created
Then go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, find the config option Registration Integration, set it to Yes.
After that, everything should work as expected. See this screenshot to see the config option drive.google.com/file/d/0B2RoJ_24efMQV1J...DA/view?usp=drivesdk
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan!
I tried your suggestion, and it is yielding the same result.
After I sign up for a membership, it says, "You can now login to your account to access to the allowed resources on our site." But, without creating a username and password, how is a user supposed to sign in to their account to see the restricted menus?
When I created the custom fields, I did notice that the core field box was not activated. Would that help integrate those fields into the core login?

Hi Clifton
Your setting is still invalid. I don't see username and password box on subscription form. I think you can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can config it for you

Tuan

Hi Tuan!
I deeply apologize. I failed to carry out your instructions below and change the setting to registration integration on the membership component. I did so and it worked beautifully.
Now that we have that resolved, I have another question.
Is it possible to integrate meta data in the sign up form that will differentiate what users see?
For instance, if I my differentiator was male / female, could I have the females see certain data while the males saw other data?
