Correct me if I'm wrong Alan but as a soon to launch SaaS provider myself, not dissimilar in various elements to your WebHosting model; Customer Service will be and is key. Therefore, what happens if one's internet connection or even an outage or endpoint malfunction occurs and we only have our digital MembershipPro client / customer information... in this instance it would be useless.
However, during the above kind of scenario periods clients could be calling the support dept seeking various elements of help with our product that they have paid for and this is where the printing of hard copies for jusy another example could come in VERY handy indeed.
We often forget that tech / digital businesses are often dangling over an 'outage precipice' and I'd like to be able to receive official confirmation emails whether I myself as an admin am activating a users account or not.
Incidentally, I don't allow automatic account activation, as I need to pre-qualify the clients against external databases of 'Registered Charities' to make sure they are who they say they are, to also then protect my suppliers vastly reduced pricing for my market. Not to mention I plan to grow my personnel structure in the next few months, delegating various roles that I currently do myself and I would like to keep on top of who has been activated; so I can keep an eye on via my email account the business from afar if necessary.
Therefore, what Alan is proposing would most definitely be a feature I will make use off straight away.
