I need an offline payment option for renewals also. Has anything been done with this?

Tuan,
Let me attempt to answer the questions you asked given that I need for members to be able to use offline payment on renewal, as there are many people who are not comfortable giving their credit card information online.
Tuan's Question
I have a question about this case so that I can properly implement it in the extension ? When users make payment using offline payment, if he doesn't actually make that payment, will be able to process renewal again ? Or he needs to make the first payment before making renewal ?
End Tuan's Question
When users initially choose offline payment, their account remains inactive until we receive a check or cash from them. Once we receive the payment, we activate their membership. If he does not send the payment, then the initial membership is never activated and will not be able to be renewed because they will not be able to log into the website. Yes, the member must make the first payment offline and have their account manually activated before they would be able to make a renewal payment. At renewal time, they should then be presented with the option of using their credit card, PayPal (if offered), or using offline payment again.
Please let me know if you will be able to add this option to the extension.
Michael

Hello Tuan - could you implement this feature now? Please tell us the status. I think a lot of your customers wait for this.
Thank you, André

Is there any progress on this feature (renewal by offline payment)?
I'd need it for my website as well.

Hi
Not possible for now. Planned to work on this feature for version 1.6.3 but 1.6.3 contains so many changes and took me much time, so I didn't have a chance to work on it yet. Next week I am busy with something, so will work on this feature in the week after that. Hope to have the feature in the extension in about 2 weeks from now (really want to add support for this feature in the extension).

Thank you Tuan,
I think that many other users of Membership Pro would be interested in such feature, considering that many people don't want to use their credit cards for online transaction due to security issues or just because they don't have a credit card.
BTW Is there any date yet for version 1.6.3 public release?

It is available on server for all customers already. However, if you upgrade, I would suggest you to back up the site before making the upgrade.
The reason is because there are many changes in version 1.6.3 compare to the old version.
Regards,
Tuan

Just to add I'm also looking for recurring payments for an offline method.
