Currently the user checks a box accepting the waiver and doesn't need to read it first. The insurance provider doesn't like that approach.

I'd like the membership waiver (terms & conditions) be presented first and the user must accept the waiver before proceeding to the membership form. An example of this can be seen at northshorehikers.org/join/

Is this possible?

Hi Hilmar

No, it won't be supported directly by Membership Pro. However, you can just create and article and change the menu item to link to that terms and conditions article so that when users click on the menu item, they will see that terms and conditions first

Of course inside article, there need to be link to allow users to click on to subscribe for you plan

Regards,

Tuan

Thanks. Waivers are messy because no one can agree on what an online legal agreement is.

Honestly, I do not understand your last post. But I suppose the suggested solution address your concern

A waiver is a type of contract or agreement and a paper waiver is well understood - you read it, sign it, and date it. Someone else may witness (and sign) it too.

How should this be done online? There are several approaches including "signing" with a mouse. Insurance companies like to add their opinion too. I've had to have a lawyer review our waiver and provide a letter to say that it's okay.
