Hi Tuan, I used to have one of these, but not any more. I am happy to donate $50 if it helps. I think if you charge say $25 for this feature, you would likely find quite a few will buy it, as a lot of people will be interested in the idea once available.. And some people will move to other platforms that support apple/google wallet which might lose revenue..

I have an Apple Developer licence as we went the passkit route and needed one for the apple wallet version of the cards.
It is $100 every year and you would want to have your own I think.

Could you cover the costs in the price of the extension or plugin you intend to create? Like you charge extra for the payment plugins you have created but instead of a one off fee, I think it fair to you if you charged a yearly fee for the card wallet to cover your costs of apple and your skills to keep up development and the running costs.

I would pay extra for your work each year as it is always top class and as proved, your customers cannot find a viable alternative yet.

I do not want to go with Apple Developer license for now because I am not familiar with it and also I do not know how many of you would want to use this feature (I can imagine that it is useful)

As of right now, I just only want to go with this development because I believe that it will be easier for some of you with management (not a matter with money here because if we just sell few copies of the plugin, it would not cover the development cost )

So since you have developer license, would it be OK for you to help us with provide me the necessary credentials necessary for the development and also help with testing?

If it was my personal decision I would have no issue but unfortunately our Apple Developer licence is for my work and we are responsible for every development used under its licence. My organisation won't let it be used by anyone or anybody for work that isn't only ours. I hope that makes sense and is understandable.

Even though you and your team are all better developers than me, I hope you understand that we can't give our licence out to other companies as it is registered with Apple under us and we are responsible for what gets developed with it.

I understand your feelings and hope that the forum members that want this feature from you (including me) can find a way to fund it properly and correctly as I can appreciate how much work is involved and you need assurances and funding up front for something like this I think.

Could we work out how much need no matter what it is in USD and then split that between the people asking if we can afford it? We could then pay you via paypal to get you covered and allow you to work on it properly?

What do other posters in this thread think? Is it time to show Tuan we are invested in it as an extra feature to his already great extensions?

Chris I agree with you that we need to find out how much it would cost for developer's licences for Apple (and Android if applicable) and the users requesting this feature should fund that between them.
I think I have mentioned this before. I see this feature as a separate feature, like a payment plugin and should  be sold separately to the Membership Pro licence for people who need it. I would also like to see a similar feature in Events Booking where Event tickets could be downloaded to Apple and Android wallets.
