Broken Joom Donation after editing language file

I changed the name of "organization" in my language file using the Translation tab, then hit save. When I saved it, it removed all of the returns from the ini file. So, I uploaded the original ini file, but my donation form is still jacked up. You can see it here:

Anyone know why this is happening?

I have the same problem. I tried to just add the word (optional) next to the Comments in the translation tab and after that, my site reverted from english back to joomdonation language JD_NAME

I thought I had it fixed but I don't.

One thing that was causing a problem on my end is that our new Apache server was calling many files ownership "user nobody" and anything added to our new Joomla 1.6 site didn't work correctly.

My server had me ad a cgi php wrapper which allows all ownership to be me and I thought that might solve the problem but alas.. still can't edit the translation!

*Because the ownership was nobody... it also messed up the installation, specifically language files- that is where I thought there was a connection

Tuan, the campaign title was not carrying over to paypal so I just went in and changed the translation where online donation is to add [CAMPAIGN_TITLE] and now my site is broken again www.projectbwa.org/index.php/donate-for-education

any help would be appreciated as the site is to be completed by today.

I would love to give you admin to the backend of the joomla site so you could see what happens. as soon as I change he translation and save, the translation screen itself in the backend gets all messed up (all fields are combined into 2 big paragraphs) hard to describe but would love for you to see.

Also, anonymous is misspelled. In JD it's spelled annonymous.

I had to reinstall so that it looks right but REALLY do need to be able to add the [CAMPAIGN_TITLE] to the translation in order to pass the campaign to payal. Please let me know if you have another way.

There was a bug in Translation function in Joom Donation for Joomla 1.6 and I fixed it this morning. Could you download latest version and re-install it on your site ? After that, you should be able to use the translation function to edit the language string and include [CAMPAIGN_ID] in the message .

Hey Tuan, how do I download it from the site without paying again? Does this fix my issue with the translation file as well? Did you by any chance change the spelling of annonymous to anonymous? Thanks!

Upgrade is free for lifetime, so you don't have to pay again. Just submit a support ticket let me know Transaction ID of your purchase. I will check order and assign it to your account so that you can download future releases for free .

After you upgrade :

1. The language file will be fixed .

2. You can use Translation function from back-end of Joom Donation to find the text from "annonymous" to "anonymous"

One question... i might not be understanding where to put [CAMPAIGN_ID]

should I go to the translation page and put [CAMPAIGN_ID] in the field that says" online donation" (to the far right) for JD_ONLINE_DONATION ?

I did and when i made a donation and got my receipt from paypal, the receipt says:

Online donation - [CAMPAIGN_ID]

and that isn't correct. maybe i am putting it in wrong place?

Sorry for lately response. [CAMPAIGN_ID] is not a correct tag, [CAMPAIGN_TITLE] is the correct one !
