I'm busy translating Event Booking into dutch. There is a dutch translation but its with quite a lot of errors.
For the frontend I translated the NL-nl.ini file. After that I "Shared" the translation. Is that enough for others to use it?
Now I'm translating the back-end in the extension itself. It would be easier to make the translation in an .ini file. Is that possible?

Douwe Bangma

        Hi Douwe
1. Once you completed the translation, please use the Share Translation tool and update us in this forum thread so that we can get your translation and update to the package to share it back with Dutch customers. Many thanks
2. If you want to translate it directly, follow the instructions below:
- Get the file administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini
- Rename the file to nl-NL.com_eventbooking.ini
- Do the translation
Once it's done, upload that file to administrator/language/nl-NL folder on your site
Regards,
Tuan

        Hi Tuan,
I promised you a dutch translation a few months ago and now, at last, I'm ready.
I found 2 nl-NL.com_eventbooking.ini files, one in administrator/language/nl-NL and one in language/nl-NL. I do not know the difference between those 2, but they are both translated. But still the backend is in English and I can't find why.
In Extensions/languages/installed Dutch is the standard.
And another thing: When I go to "Translation management" there are some items still in English. I translate the text into dutch, but when I save the changed text is set back to English again.
Any idea what happens here?
Regards
Douwe Bangma

        Hello
Maybe it's because there is something broken in the language file? Could you please send these language files so that I can look at it?
You can attach it directly here

Tuan
