FirstData Processing Error (Joomla)

Hello... i am asking, please if someone could help me out. I purchase and install the Events Booking Component plus the First Data payment plugin. (I already using FirstData with Virtuemare on the Joomla Site) I install them and enter the web address in the FirstData connect page, but When someone try to register they get the following error:

Form Processing Error

The following errors occurred while processing your request:
# It is not possible to order from the store at this time.
# Contact the merchant for further information (error 1002).

What is the page you are putting in for the connect setup on First Data? You need to put in the page that pops up after you click "Registration Confirmation" which should look something like this " www.yourdomain.com/index.php " that is the link that worked for me in the settings for the first data terminal website not " www.yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_...event_id=5&Itemid=30 "

I am using the following: www.nhktech.com/index.php . What do you think?

do you have the http:// in front of the www?

i change the http to https and it seem to be working. will let you know if everything is ok

I'm getting the same issue and can't seem to get it to connect.

@dswatson83 : Please follow the instruction below to change the setting in your First Data account. After that, it should work as expected :

1. Install the plugin via Payment Plugins installation
2. Login to your First data merchant account .
3. Access to Administrator => Connect Setting
4. Enter YOUR_SITE_URL/index.php into Submission Form URL textbox (forexample, joomdonation.com/index.php ) .
5. Check on Url is a CGI Script checkbox for Confirmation Page and Failure Page


Please let me know the result once you changed the setting !

That should work but I'm still getting the same error. I did notice that right before it transfers to first data, there are actually 2 index.php statements ( www.canvasandcheers.com/index.php/index.php ) but I have tried entering that into first data setup and it still did not work.
Website is www.canvasandcheers.com and feel free to register with fake info to see if you can get to first data for account processing.

I did notice that first data now says Connect 2.0 Setup...not sure if 2.0 is different. It recommends:
Order Submission Form
For example:
www.yourserver.com/yourstorename/yourorderform.html
or if you are using a secure web server:
www.yourserver.com/yourstorename/yourorderform.html
or if you are generating the form in a CGI:
www.yourserver.com/yourstorename/yourorderform.cgi

They also have a "Shared Secret" generate box and i'm not sure what that is
