Can I hide registration buttons in the calendar until after Joomla login? was created by Toolie
Hi there, I am trying to be able to show the list of available classes but not show the registration buttons until the visitor has created a Joomla account. I have in the Configuration the box Default Registration Access set to Registered but the buttons still show in the Detail view for the Public.
What I'm trying to do is to steer visitors towards Joomla registration first, before allowing them to register for the class. Due to the way the class is structured, I want to offer to Individual registrants the option to pay for the course but not select a class right away. (Group registrants will have to select a specific date.)
How can I hide those registration buttons?

Hi Toolie
You need to edit the event, set Registration Access to Registered and it will work as you want. The default registration access config option you show in the screenshot only affect new events, it does not affect existing events

Tuan

AH OK thanks Tuan, that helped!
I've also noticed that cloning one event to another is not straightforward; I have to apply and re-apply in particular the Category on each new event for it to show up in a Category view. That said, this extension pretty much has everything I could want in a registration system, and I thank you for that.

I do not understand the issue about cloning one event. Could you please explain more details about it?

Tuan
