Purchasing EB Coupons

Hi,
I use coupons a lot on my booking site. People can buy a coupon directly from my website (I use Squareup payment system). I get a notification from Squareup to say they have bought a coupon. I then have to set the coupon up and email the buyer to tell them that the coupon is ready for use. Obviously, if I'm out and about I can't always respond quickly so I wondered if there was a way where the coupon could be bought and automatically registered. Of course, the buyer would have to enter their preferred voucher code or one would have to be automatically generated and emailed to them.
Is this possible?

Hi Dave

For this, the solution is using Payment Form extension (from us) with it's EB Voucher plugin. Then the whole process will be automatic, no need for creating and sending the voucher manually to clients anymore

I was aware of the extension but I didn't know it could be used for that. Thanks for the information...it will be worth buying it just to automate the coupons.

I've just read the documentation and it isn't clear whether the coupons can be used as vouchers (like in EB). I would like people to be able to purchase a voucher for, say, £20 and get £25 to spend on events. So if one event is £6 they will still have £19 remaining and if the next event is £8 they will have £11 remaining and so on until the voucher runs out of money.

Can it work like this or is it just a discount off each event (fixed % or £).

It's actually a voucher, not a coupon (with fixed discount amount or percent), so Yes, it works exactly as you want
