State (prefecture) display order was created by hide10
Hello,
I tried using States for the first time. I have registered all prefectures for Japan.
When a site user selects Japan as a country, the mechanism that displays the registered prefectures accordingly is wonderful.
However, I have no control over the display order of prefectures.
It would be nice to be able to determine the display order using the State Code (either 2 or 3 is OK) . Is this possible?
I attached screenshots.
Thanks

It should order the states by name in the dropdown

Unfortunately, you don't seem to understand the intent of my question.
Please take a closer look at the screenshot I attached. The management screen starts from Hokkaido. However, the frontend starts from Mie.
In Japan, it is common to arrange them in dropdown order by prefecture location (north to south). So I want to sort by the numbered State Code.
Postscript:
I live in Japan so I haven't wondered, but actually Japanese customs are unique. I think the custom of arranging prefectures in order of location is because the land in Japan is long vertically.

We do not support choosing how states are ordered in Configuration. Your usage is special, so in this case, you will need a custom override . Please get this file, unzip it, then upload the received file to components/com_osmembership/controller/override folder (you need to create the folder your self), then try again to see if it works

Thank you for sending the file. However, the dropdown remains visible from Mie (no change).

I tried putting new register.php directly under the controller without using override. The result was the same in that case as well.

Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you for your kind offer. Unfortunately, the website I'm currently creating is private for business reasons at this time.

I can't leave this issue alone, so I'll build a test site for you to check. However, due to the latest schedule, it will take a few days to start.
