Over 11k repeat group registrations

Can you send me a screenshot of where that is. I don't want to do that again.
Also The events booking-auto register plugin is set to enabled
Check Accept Registration - yes
Send Notification Email - no
Show on frontend - no
Is that ok for the plugin?

Please see the attached screenshot to see the setting I'm talking about. You need to edit event with ID = 15, look at Auto Registration tab to see the settings
