Google maps wont work on front-end was created by remy
Im trying to get the Google maps to work but it only shows a blank page.
I made a new menu item to go to the locations and it wont show up. If i go to an event and click on the location it will show up in a lightbox. Is there something i missed in the configuration??

Hi Remy
Just checked your site and show that It does works. The google map is used to show location of an event, so you could not create a menu item to link to it. To view location of an event, simply access to event detail page such as development.ipsis.nl/gmto/index.php?opti...t&event_id=1&lang=nl and then click on the name of location to see it in google map .
Hope my explanation is clear to you .
Thanks,
Tuan

I understand, but I dont understand why there is an option to make a menu item to the map section of this component if it doesnt even work? Why is it even there then?

Hi Remi
Joomla is written follow MVC structure, so there are different views in the component. Some of views are used so that you can create menu items to link to them. Some views are used by the component - like the map view in our extension(there is somewhere in the component to link to this view) .
Hope my explanation is clear to you . That's something related to coding and structure of Joomla code .
BTW, I just released version 1.2.0 of the extension yesterday with so many nice features, so please upgrade your site to latest version of Event Booking to get used of those very nice features .
Thanks,
Tuan
