Yes, editing file directly is a solution if you know how to access to language file via FTP. Sometime, customers just need to change some language items only, so Translation is easier (and helpful) :)

Hi Tuan,
Thank you for your kind offer. I'm still thinking about it. Perhaps I could solve this by simply uninstalling/deleting the en-GB language pack, since I don't need it for this site anyway.
I definitely agree that Translation is a fantastic tool!

Hi Philipp,
Thank you for your suggestion - I took a look at the ini file (all 1120 lines of it :) ). The trouble is, I find it hard to decide on the right translation when I see it out of context. On the other hand: you are certainly right when you say using search&replace can be very helpful. And of course there's the problem that it takes far more words to say the same thing in Dutch. I expect that problem is even worse for German.

For the time being, I'm working on getting the whole thing set up to work correctly ;). I'll translate stuff as I come across it.
