Auto-Update broken, two times

Hi everybody,

I remember reading a post here before on auto-update, can't seem to find it right now, so sorry for possible x-post...

Auto-update looks like a nice feature, but it has been broken (for me) ever since I purchased the component in August. First, despite the correct download-ID at just the right place in the prefs, I have never been able to use auto-update (see screen1), and the download link given leads to an invalid domain (screen2).

Nothing critical, but...

Same for me... The auto-update won't work.
In joomdonation.com/forum/events-booking-ge...2-12-0-released.html , it was suggested by another user that the issue was possibly related to me not having input my download ID, but I've copy-and-pasted it a couple of times and it still doesn't work.

GOT IT TO WORK!
I generated a NEW DOWNLOAD ID at joomdonation.com/download-ids.html , applied it to my install, and now the auto update works.

Ooh, that's neat. Many thanks, James. Not that this would be the way to do it every time, but this will surely help to work on the problem.

Worked for me, too, btw...

Please note that each Download ID can only be used for one site. So if you used that download id on a dev site, you won't be allowed to used it on your main site

So sometime, generate a new Download ID is needed

I am sorry. Yesterday, we implemented SSL certificate for our website and force none www request to www request, so Joomla Auto Update won't work anymore for older version of the extension

If you installed the extension before, please re-download the latest version and update it to your site manually to use auto upload in the future

Sorry for the trouble causes by the change on our website
