Include spouse was created by Andrew Hicks
Hi Tuan,
Our members are asking for an extra option in Individual Registration and that is "Include Spouse". This is to save them having to input details for themselves and their partners in the Group Registration tab. Guest bookings are 90% member plus spouse. Individual Registration can retrieve data from the database but Group Registration cannot, so everything has to be retyped. We have spouse details included in our master database, so it could all be controlled from a single custom registration field called "Include Spouse" [Yes/No]. This field can control whether the spouse data fields are displayed or hidden. As a fee field we can set it to adjust the ticket price x2, so that would work. Is there any way we can adust the registrant count as well; to make it +2 instead of +1?
Kind regards,
Andrew

Tuan posted a plugin just over a year ago that I think will help you out. See
joomdonation.com/forum/events-booking-ge...cket-pool.html#71557
.
After prefixing your checkbox field name with "number_", set your checkbox value to something like "1 - Include Spouse". You need to start the value with an integer that indicates the number of places to book, however, I found that if you start your value entry with an integer, then you can include text after it and the text is ignored.
I haven't used the plugin in a while, but you might need to set 2 values on a radio button, "1 - Just me" and "2 - Include my Spouse"... I don't recall if the plugin adds ADDITIONAL places (1 for the registrant, + 1, 2, 3, etc. for the field value) or if it itself defines the number of places reserved.
