Event booking and Acymailing Integration was created by Chris
Hi
Yes i know. There is an Acymailing Plugin to set Registrants automatically to a certain Newsletterlist. Great.
But is there a possibility to have a Checkbox "Yes please send me the Newsletter" in a Eventform? Some people register for more than one event but they don't want the newsletter.
Thank you
Chris

Hello Christoph
It is already supported. You can create a custom field (Type = checkboxes for example) to allow users to choose whether they want to subscribe to newsletter
Then go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, find the Events Booking - Acymailing plugin plugin, click on it to edit
There is a parameter called Subscribe Newsletter Field, select the field you just created above
After that, it should all works as expected

Hi Tuan
Thank you! It works perfect. Now i have the following Problem and maybe there is a solution.
Is there a way to put "joomla-unregistered" user to a specific joomla-usergroup? So earlier i used the Acymailing Plugin to put "unregistered" user to a (non-active) Mailing-List called "Eventsregistrants but not joomla users". But there was the wish to put the users to another (acitve) mailing-list when they enable the "yes, please send me the newsletter" checkbox. So it would be nice if there is a possibilty to put user (if they wish) to a specific usergroup and automaticly (hidden already checked field?) to another.
Or autmaticly to a joomla-usergroup "events registrants".
Best regards
Christoph

Hello Chris
Sorry but that's something not supported and we won't have any plan to add support for it in near future. There are still many other things I want to work on to improve the product

Hello,
I would like to add a checkbox for AcyMailing subscription as described above.
I'm using:
Event Booking 2.8.1
Eventbooking - Acymailing plugin 2.8.1
I don't see parameters in the Eventbooking - Acymailing plugin.
Is there something I understood wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Chris
That mean the feature is not supported in that old version you are using. Please consider updating your site to latest version of the extension (2.14.5 now) if you want to use the feature
Regards,
Tuan
