I applied the newest version, but I still get the error.

Downloaded again and now working fine "Registration completed".

Works like a charm now
I was first confused that there were same version number and last updated were still "08-17-2015". (in the download section).
So I thought it wasn't updated...
But I downloaded again and it made the difference!

I'm still getting the error message "Something went wrong, you are NOT successfully registered".

Read through this thread. Downloaded the latest package just now, updated, cleared cache and still the same. Repeated it just to be sure.

This is using Paypal as a payment gateway. The registration and payment is complete and everything is fine in the backend.

I had to remove lines 97-103 from components/com_eventbooking/view/complete/html.php. Now, when the user is returned from Paypal they get the proper success screen.

The question is when users complete registration at PayPal, what's the status of the registration record from backend of Events Booking? Is it Pending or Active ?

Please let me know so that I can check it further. There is nothing wrong with the code you removed, but maybe it doesn't work because there are some delay between PayPal IPN message (so when users come back to your site, PayPal IPN process has not complete yet, at that time, the status of the registration record is Pending....and cause the error)

I have the same problem with the Mollie iDeal plugin. I have tackled the problem temporarily by editing the text in the file hardcoded. But it will be nice if you can repair it in the next update package.
