Cannot use coupons

I got your reply on using the 'Only Group Registration' to hide coupon. First, this seems rather an odd way to do it, difficult for our staff understand and remember. Secondly, it does not work for group registrations. There is no way to keep a coupon field from appearing on the registrant's billing page.

I would like to propose that the algorithm for displaying a coupon field be: Display the field if - and only if - (1) there is a coupon connected to this event, (2) it is published and (3) today's date is between the Valid From and Valid To dates. This would be logical and easy to understand and remember. It would also work which the current method does not

That would be best and surely, it will be in version 2.5.0

Actually, there is a workaround even on current version:

1. In Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Enable Coupon, set it to No

2. Edit the event you want to disable coupon, set it Enable coupon to Use Global

3. For other events, set Enable Coupon to registration type you want or both

But of course, working as you suggested would be simpler to setup, I think
