Changing the cut off date to match the actual end date , or later if necessary, seems to work. However, isn't the cut off date supposed to reflect the date and time when you no longer will accept registrations? Perhaps a setting, for each event, "Display Until mm/did/yyy" that is independent of the cut off date?
