That file de-DE.com_eventbooking.sys is only needed if you need to translate the text related to Events Booking which is displayed in Components menu of Joomla backend. If you don't want to translate these items, then you can remove that file
Thanks for sharing the German translation, I appreciate it. To migrate to the new version, I think the easiest way is looking at the end of file and translate the new items. We always add new language items to end of file on new release.
