Please try this new patch. If it doesn't work, you must uploaded it in wrong place, lol.

Hi Tuan

This is also exactly what I need, members can log in and fields are prefilled, non-members simply fill out all fields, but without registering as new user..

I unzipped your patch, however, these files are for version 1.6.4, and now we are on 1.6.6
If i do a compare I see quite some differences. Could you please provide a similar patch for version 1.6.6
That would be greatly appreciated

nope, not yet

i put the default.php file in the html override folder in the template
template/com_eventbooking/register

i think I also need the register.php file....
this file was included in the last patch (1.6.4)
i suppose that is a 'core hack ' and would be lost whenever eventbooking gets updated..?

Yes. It is a core hack and will be lost when you upgrade to new version
