Terms and Conditions - neither option is working

Hi there, I have the latest version of EB running on Joomla 3.2.3. The Terms & Conditions window is blank when it pops up. When I set the configuration option "Fix Terms and Conditions popup issue" to yes, then the Terms and Conditions link opens a browser window and takes me to our home page.

Do you know how to create a hidden menu item ? Please create a hidden menu item to link to terms and conditions article and it will work well !

Hi Tuan, just an update for you. I changed the "Load JQuery javascript library" option to "yes" in Configuration and the popup T&C's window now works very well. I had set the jquery option to "no" as I thought my template already loaded it. Anyway, a good result and I love that the popup window is working.

Hi Tuan, I've just been testing on a mobile phone and the terms & conditions popup window doesn't appear responsive, it fills up the whole screen and the cuts off important info on the left hand side. Can you please help?

I also have a probleme with it ..

the popup page load correctly (Jquery 'on') but the article in, is not the good one :blink:

I have checked on General config and Event config, and on both I choosed the same good article !

I am sorry. Could you please explain more details about the problem you are having ? I don't really understand ! Maybe you can send me the link to the registration page on your site so that I can look at it myself ?

Hi Tuan, I'm not sure if user zesharck and I have exactly the same problem ... in my case, the correct T&C's article loads, but on a mobile phone the popup window doesn't automatically resize to the small screen of a mobile phone. The first attachment shows the T&C's popup window and you can see the left side is cut off; the second attachment shows the T&C's popup window once I've scrolled to the right. With more and more people using mobile devices these days, I feel it's important for the full T&C's to be visible on a mobile device. Can you make this popup window responsive, so it adjusts according to the device it is being viewed on?

I am really sorry. At the moment, the system rely on a javascript library called greybox to show the popup and it seems it is not responsive.

So for now, we need to use it as how it is. In the next release, I will consider using modal popup from twitter bootstrap and It should be responsive. But it will take sometime as right now, I am working on some other major improvements as well.
