Including Coupon Code in Registration

I read in a previuos post from May 2011 that you do not store the coupon code with the event registration. Has that changed? I offer the same discount but want to keep track of the organization that refers the registrant to the event so I need to be able to know the coupon code. Has that feature been added? Thanks, Traci

This feature is now available in the extension (I don't remember exactly what version the feature was added to). In the latest version (1.5.3 for Joomla 2.5_3.0x at the moment), you can go to Events Booking->Configuration, there is a config option which allows you to show coupon code in registrants management. I believe that will solve your issue.

Well, I paid another $34.99 to update the component and still no data in the coupon column. Also, there is no way to show the coupon in the email unless there is a [COUPON] field that I don't know about. Is there a [COUPON] field that can be placed in emails? Thanks!!

I am sorry. The coupon code was not stored in old version of the extension. So all the old registration records will not have coupon code listed in coupon column. You installed latest version, so from now on, the coupon code will be showed for new registration record. Does it make sense ?

Hi. Yes, that makes sense. That's why I tested it with a new registration and the coupon code still didn't show up in the coupon column on the registration list. (In my older version, I had the column on the page as well. I just can't get the data onto the screen or anywhere else. It makes it hard to pay commissions to folks who helped advertise the events if I can't retrieve the coupon codes that were entered at registration.)

That's strange. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can check to see what's wrong here and get it sorted ?

I am using Event Booking ver 1.5.3, but I cannot find the option you mention:

At the moment, I cannot see which coupons have been used for which bookings, how can I do this?
