Multiple taxes was created by drjjw
Hello,
Many jurisdictions have at least one sales tax that need to be itemized on the invoice and checkout page.
Can you assist me with adding 1 additional tax field in the configuration screen so that I can have the following on checkout and invoices:
Event Price: $100
Tax 1: $10
Tax 2: $12
Grand total: $122

Hi
I am sorry. At the moment , Events Booking only have one tax, it doesn't support multiple taxes. Adding one more tax will need to edit code on many places, so I am afraid of you will need to know Joomla programming to customize the extension to have this feature

Hello,
I understand. Would you consider doing this if I paid for it as a customization. You would be free to include it as part of your core application as I'm sure others might enjoy this option.

Hi Jordan
Yes. I can do it as custom work. However, I am afraid of I won't add it into core download package. This is the first time I heard about this request, so I am afraid of It will confuse customers when adding this feature to core package.

Ok great. I understand about including it.
Could I only ask that you keep track of and list the file locations and place comments in the code for me so that I could update myself in future as the application is upgraded?
How to proceed with the work? Please indicate the cost once you have decided.

Ok, that sounds fine. How do I pay you and begin?
I did have a suggestion. Perhaps to minimize any changes required to the database structure, maybe the tax field can be changed to detect if one places a comma separated string of 2 numbers eg 12,15 would then lead those respective taxes being used. They could then be labelled as Tax1 and Tax2 in the language file which I could customize. If only one number is entered, the usual behaviour for tax would apply. If I'm not mistaken, this would allow the same database structure to be used. I already have a live site with the component in use and this would mimimize complicating the fix if all I had to change were the component files and not the database.

Great suggestions. The process are :
1. You send payment to our Paypal account paypal@ext4joomla.com.
2. Send an email to support@joomdonation.com sending me information of your site (administrator and FTP account) so that we can update the work to your site when it is done .
3. Just one question: Did you make any customizations to the extension? If not, then I would like to upgrade your site to version 1.5.3 of Events Booking before making customization .

Excellent.
I will set up a mirror of my live site for you to work and test on. It is 1.5.2. Perhaps at the end of the work you can package the custom component (based on 1.5.3) so I can then install on my live site? I have made some customizations but I can always redo them after you're done as they're nothing major.
