Hi Prabhat

For the issue redirect to homepage, please go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Fix Process Button not working, set it to Yes and the issue will be sorted.

For the issue with the css of Month-Year dropdown, please submit a support ticket sending me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can ask a css developer to edit css code for you.

Regards,

Tuan

Hi Tuan - I have set the Fix Process button not working to Yes.

The issue is resolved for Individual registrations, However it is still there for Group Registrations. Do I need to make any additional changes for Group Registrations?

For the Month year dropdown - I will be creating the support ticket with necessary details shortly.

I'm having the exact same problem. Nothing is saving. All my events and categories migrated over fine. But none of my events have categories anymore, and when I try to give them categories I get the message "error while saving event". My configurations didn't migrate over, and when I go in to re-do them, nothing saves.

Can you help? It's on a local server but if you need to get in, I can put it up somewhere.

Thanks,

A.

PS- it's a really nice extension, and I like the updated version a lot!

Hi

Maybe the update process doesn't update the database schema for some reason. You can try to login to back-end of your site, then type the follow url to web browser :

yourdomain.com/administrator/index.php?o...booking&task=upgrade

(Please remember to replace yourdomain.com with your site domain).

After that, it should work as expected.

I have the same error in the Apache log:
File does not exist: /public_html/components/com_eventbooking/assets/css/images
I use J 2.5.8, Event booking 1.5.3, PHP 5.3.23, Webserver Apache/2, editor JCE 2.3.2.1

I'm struggling to get the migration to work. I have an old site and the new (under construction) site on the same server. They use different databases and different table prefixes. The old site has 31 events under EB.

The Apache server has MySQL 5.0.96; PHP version 5.2.17; I'm moving from J1.5.26 to J2.5.14; and I usually use Google Chrome (Win 7).

Here's what I've done so far:
  • Installed the same version of EB (1.4.4) onto the J2.5 site as that which was used on the J1.5 site.
  • Using phpMyAdmin, deleted the eb_tables from the new site
  • Using phpMyAdmin, exported the eb_tables from the old site
  • Using phpMyAdmin, imported the same eb_tables into the new site, and changed the table prefixes to match the new site
  • Ran the 'upgrade' command: mydomain.com/new_site/administrator/index.php?o...ing&task=upgrade
  • Checked the component and found the categories were there, but the events weren't showing up at all
  • Checked the new site database eb_events, and confirmed the events were there
  • Compared the old and new site file content in: ../media/com_eventbooking, and saw that they were identical
  • Changed the date format as you had suggested in this thread, but still no Events
  • Found under Extension Manager: Check Database: "Warning, database is not up to date! Database schema version (2.5.9) does not match CMS version (2.5.14)" and "Database update version (2.5.9) does not match CMS version (2.5.14)" ...which I think just indicates that I used a manual update to go from 2.5.9 to 2.5.14.

Anything that I may be missing? Thanks in advance, Fred

Hi Fred

The easiest way is that you get latest version of Events Booking (current 1.6.1) and setup it to your new site . If you still get issue after that, please submit a support ticket so that I can check it for you .

To be honest, I don't remember whether the version 1.4.4 works with Joomla 2.5 or not.

Tuan
