The steps are simple :
1. Export all Event Booking related database tables (database tables with _eb_ prefix) from your Joomla 1.5 site and import them into Joomla 2.5 site database .
2. Install latest version of Event Booking (1.4.4) to your Joomla 2.5 site .
3. Copy /media/com_eventbooking folder from Joomla 1.5 site to Joomla 2.5 site .
Regards,
Tuan
While testing these steps on a fresh installation of Joomla 2.5.6 on my local machine - . The past events and registrants data is available. However, I am facing two issues.
1. On creating/editing an event, the "Cancel", "Save" and "Save and close" button no longer work.
2. The dates of all imported events is being shown like %01-%15-%2012 instead of 01-15-2012
Can you please help??? I must be doing something wrong. I need to complete migration asap.
Thanks in advance.

1. For issue #1, please setup the upgraded site to a live server so that I can check it for you. Normally, there is no problem with version 1.4.5 on Joomla 2.5.6, maybe something special on your site causing the issue .
2. For issue #2, you need to go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Date Format and Event Date Format and changed it to meet the Joomla 2.5 date format. By default :
- Date Format: m-d-Y
- Event Date Format : m-d-Y g:i a
Please change the settings and It should work as expected .

Also since I am unable to make any saves in the Event Booking module currently on my local machine, I am not able to resolve the issue 2.

However - you may want to look into this behavior with CodeMirror.
Thanks a Lot.

I have migrated to the live site. I am unable to figure out the mofifications needed in template css to resolve the Month/year text.
Additinally I am experiencing that when a user tries a registration - he is taken to the home page. Is this the normal behaviour? I don't remember this happening on my Joomla 1.5 site.
I have created a Test Event on my live site here on which this can be reproduced.
Click on Individual Registration, Fill details and click on Registration Confirmation -> You are redirected to Home Page which is not good in my case as a lot of uneccessary graphics can confuse the clients. Similar is the case with Group Registrations.
Tuan can you please have alook and help! Do you need an admin login to the site backend?
Thanks
