Just wondered if there was any news on this as it has caught me out on a live production site. I didn't read anywhere that this didn't work on Joomla 1.7??? Did I miss this on the Joomdonation website as while testing I spent ages trying to \fix' why the users details didn't get automatically updated in the users section.
This makes it impossible for users to actually track their event history as the first one is always missing!
An urgent update is needed as everyone should really be running Joomla 1.7.x or 2.5.x now and not 1.5.
Tuan, any news on the release date for this?
Thanks,
Shorn.

This feature is now available in the latest download of the extension. So if you want to have it, simply download latest version from Orders History, upgrade it to your site. After that, go to Event Booking -> Configuration, find the config option User Registration, set it to Yes. After that, it should work as expected on your Joomla 1.7 sites. Once you tested it, please let me know the result (feedback) .
Regards,
Tuan

with the following use case it is possible to register twice for an event:
1. login and register for event X
2. if you want to register again, this is not possible
3. logout
4. register for event X
5. give username (same as in step 1) and fill in all other details
6. confirm registration
registration doesn't check if you already registered = you registered twice..
EDIT: because password is not needed, somebody else can register under my account when my login name is known!
regards,
Ruud.

The duplicate register issue is a concern though!! I can see that being a problem if it isn't fixed before my site goes live, although I am assuming with the CB and Joomla User integration this issue will be fixed...hopefully!!

Would it be possible to let us know which files have changed since the last version? I have done quite a bit of coding on the latest version and don't want to have to start again if possible...
I'll send some feedback on the latest version once I've tested it but thanks again for your quick updates.

you should be able to fix the typo in the translation files Ruud hopefully. Let me know if you need a pointer in the right direction..

Yip, I use the language override file for that so that in future updates my text changes do not get overwritten

Thanks,
Ruud.
