SMS notifications

I'm thinking about this integration and will try to support it in the new releases of Events Booking (3.13.0).

I want to ask what's the most popular SMS gateways which you will be used to send SMS? Clickatell, Twilio, Nexmo

Are these SMS gateways are enough?

Textlocal please as we use this. It’s a very simple REST API. Also one thing that the feature will need is sociable hours, I.e. notifications between certain hours for example 9am to 5pm. I didn’t do this on my first iteration and sent text reminders to people at 1am

I use clickatell but would be willing to look at other providers if they work in Ireland... I'm only using clickatell with a few clients.
BulkSMS is good and cheap too www.bulksms.com/developer/json/v1/#
I agree with Mark about sms at night as they are much more intrusive - I've even had people moaning about email notifications at night (can you believe it!!!) This will be a great addition.

Also if you are doing the SMS i think getting it to work like the EB Mass Mail would be brilliant too as well as auto event reminders. Also it should be optional to send SMS reminders on an event by event basis.

Also it would be good if you abstract the interface and allow people to create additional mappings for other SMS APIs if their current provider is not supported

However, I must be honest that I were not able to test it because I don't have an account for these paid SMS gateways for testing

So if you use this feature, please report the result back to us if it's possible. If there is anything wrong, I would be happy to correct it
