... in the case of reminder messages set to AFTER expired the auto messages tags becomes misleading (eg. tags will state it expires in 5 days when it actually expired 5 days ago)

I cant seem to find a good workaround for this when reminder is set to be sent both before and after.

Has Conditional Text been documented? What I want to do is show/hide text in Group Member Email Body (at the event level) based on the value in [PAYMENT_METHOD].

Yes. Try this syntax

{ebShowText [PAYMENT_METHOD]=os_offline}This text will be shown for offline payment method{/ebShowText}

{ebShowText [PAYMENT_METHOD]=os_paypal}This text will be shown for PayPal payment method{/ebShowText}

Please try that and let us know if it works for your need

Unfortunately that syntax is not working. I get no output in that part of the emails for either PayPal or Offline Payment. It appears that both tests are failing. If I try to output just [PAYMENT_METHOD] it outputs as [PAYMENT_METHOD] in the emails, leading me to believe that that tag is not available in the Group Member Email Body template.

I get the same results if I try that syntax in the User Email Body and User Email Body (Offline Payment) templates.

These are for templates defined at the event level.

Would you like me to open a ticket for this issue?

[PAYMENT_METHOD] tag is not supported in Group Member Email (because group member does not make payment)

That's the reason it is not working. You can submit a support ticket so that I can send you updated package which you can update to your site and check the result. It should work well

Thanks, Tuan, I thought that might be the case. I figured out how to get what I want a different way so will not need an updated package.

However, the same problem occurs when I try to use conditional text in User Email Body (Offline), where I believe the [PAYMENT_METHOD] tag is supported. It looks like an issue with conditional text itself. I'll submit a ticket for that.
