Re-Ordering of Advanced Search Categories was created by Dave Collerton
HI Giang
I would like to be able to re-order the category and manufacture lists in the Advanced Search module so that they are sorted alphabetically e.g. A, B, C, D etc. This would greatly improve the visitor experience as it makes it a lot easier to go straight to the item e.g. Accessories, Amplifier Parts, Bass Guitar Parts, Clearance etc etc. At the moment, they seem to follow the way they were created i.e. by item number. For this reason they are all over the place as I created each category all over the place!! . Having looked at the module, I cannot see a way to do this,
Same goes for Manufacturers. These need to be re-order also as A, B, C etc
Can you advice if this is possible and if so, how to do this?
Many thanks
David

Hi Giang, I'm wondering if I can get an answer to this. It's a bit of a problem.

I have this same issue. Is there a built in solution for putting the categories into alphabetical order? Or Manually ordering them?
